Job description

JOB TITLE: Teaching Assistant SEND Level 2 GRADE/SALARY : Grade E (Points 4-6) £25,185 to £25,989 (Full Time Equivalent) - (£19,815 to £20,448 pro rata) HOURS: 34 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 inset days) Hours of Work: Mon: 8.40am-4.30pm Tue: 8.40am-3.50pm Wed: 8.40am-4.30pm Thu & Fri: 8.40am-3.30pm Daventry Hill School is a specialist school which caters for the needs of over 230 pupils from the ages of 4 to 18. Our fantastic pupils have a wide range of needs including PMLD, SLD, MLD and complex learning difficulties; with additional needs such as ASD and SLCN. The school is part of Creating Tomorrow Trust which is a growing Trust supporting schools who believe that children can achieve irrespective of their learning needs. Our purpose is to create happy, successful people and our vision is to inspire and empower our young people to achieve success. We are a school of choice and currently oversubscribed. We strongly believe in our wider commitment to the community and work with other schools and local businesses to develop the provision for young people with SEND as a whole. We are looking to recruit skilled and motivated individuals to join our team. Duties will include: Supporting pupils in the learning environment Providing personal and welfare care Classroom administrative support In return for your commitment to supporting our young people, we can offer you a modern working environment, a team of supportive colleagues and the opportunity for professional development. I n order to apply for this role applicants are required to hold a certificate in English - GCSE Grade C/New Grade 4 or above (or Level 2 equivalent). You will be asked to provide evidence of your qualification. All qualifications to be listed on application form.
