Discover more at https://thegrangeschool.e-act.org.uk/ We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join the team at The Grange Academy . Working closely with teachers and other members of staff, you will play an important role in supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing and development. You will provide both general and targeted support, helping pupils to engage confidently with their learning and achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities. Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs. Assist with the implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour plans and Personal Care programs under the supervision and guidance of teaching staff. Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate. Implement planned learning activities/teacher programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate.

Pay range:

NJC SCP 4-5 £22,881.69 - £23,243.17 (FTE: £26,016.00 - £26,427.00) Full Time (37 hours) Permanent/Term Time Only (39 weeks)

Qualifications and Skills:

GCSE Maths and English minimum grade C/4 or equivalent Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent or relevant experience Relevant educational experience supporting a child/children in a school setting and the relevant age range Ability to work with an individual child or with a group
