About the role

About this Role Pannal Primary School is a successful, high achieving and oversubscribed two form entry school on the southern outskirts of Harrogate with a strong sense of community and a highly dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff, governors, parents and children.  We are proud to be an inclusive school who welcome all children into our school family.  We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join our school community. The successful candidate will have ideally have experience of working with young children.  Good interpersonal skills are essential along with flexibility and the ability to work in a team.  Do you want to help children reach their potential? The role is a split role between GTA & GTA SEN (Keyworker). As a GTA in KS2, you will work alongside our class teachers to build a safe, stimulating environment where every child feels confident to learn, and progress. As a keyworker you will be supporting a child to meet their own personalised targets. Hours would include Midday duties (MSA) which provide continuity for the children cared for by familiar adults. What we are looking for: An individual with excellent communication skills who can promote high-quality interactions with children. A flexible team player who is willing to support all children, whether that be with an individual or guide small groups. Desirable- A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare/teaching assistant qualification.
