Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant, Woodbridge Road Academy Permanent contract Term time only plus 1 week (39 weeks per year) Support Staff Pay Scales, Scale 3 Points 5 - 6, £26,427 - £26,847 FTE, £22,832 - £23,195 pro rata Paradigm Trust is looking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to the team at Woodbridge Road Academy. We are also advertising this role as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. What you will offer We are looking for individuals with the dedication to promoting effective and inclusive education for all pupils and an understanding and ability to establish clear boundaries in relation to pupils' behaviour. You will demonstrate a commitment to collaborative working and have effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The Position You will work with individual pupils and groups of pupils, under the direction of a teacher/line manager, introducing tasks, monitoring pupils’ work and using a range of strategies to support their learning. You will have the ability to draw on your skills and knowledge to respond effectively to pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

The successful candidate will have a willingness and desire to learn and to gain knowledge, and to develop skills to improve your work performance. A flexible, patient and hardworking approach to work will be required with the ability to work as part of a team.
