About the role

We are looking

for someone who:

Has good literacy and numeracy

skills

Has experience of working with children, preferably within a primary school setting

Can support pupils effectively within the classroom and through individual and small-group work

Can follow guidance from teachers and other professionals to support pupils' learning

Understands how to scaffold learning while encouraging pupils to become increasingly independent

Can build positive and supportive relationships with children

Is calm, patient and able to respond positively to pupils with a range of additional needs

Has good communication skills and can work effectively with staff, pupils and families

Is organised, flexible and able to work collaboratively as part of a team

Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
