Job description

Acorns is a purpose-built focused provision unit for children with autism aged 5-11. Our provision offers a calm and enriching environment for all children and we are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate educators to join our growing team. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development throughout the school day. Working closely with teachers and other staff, you will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. Who we're looking for Djanogly Strelley Academy is seeking a caring and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. The role includes providing personal care, supporting physical and emotional wellbeing, and helping pupils access learning safely and with dignity. Working closely with teaching and SEN staff, the Level 2 Teaching Assistant will play a key role in promoting independence, inclusion and safeguarding within a supportive school environment.
