About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our academy team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support the educational, emotional, and social development of our pupils. You will play a vital role in fostering student independence, supporting diverse learning and SEND needs, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Support Development: Foster pupils' confidence, independence, and personal skills while tracking their progress. Deliver Learning: Assist with lesson preparation and deliver tailored activities, including literacy, numeracy, and personalised learning plans. Support SEND & Inclusion: Implement targeted strategies for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and collaborate with external agencies. Ensure Safety: Supervise pupils safely across the academy grounds, during off-site trips, and in accordance with Trust safeguarding policies.
