About the role

Christ Church CE Primary School, a school within Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust, are looking for a confident and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join their staff team. The successful candidate will predominantly work within EYFS. Fixed Term (to 31/08/2027 in the first instance) NJC Grade 5 (SCP 7) 31.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.15pm) Christ Church CE Primary School is a village primary school situated in the beautiful rural setting of Cressage, near Shrewsbury. The school has a strong sense of family and success revolves around the creative and engaging curriculum and the warm relationships built throughout the school community, reflecting the Christian ethos and values of the school. The ideal candidate needs to be patient, with a warm and friendly attitude and have the passion and determination to succeed. To be considered for this position you will need to have experience of working with children in an educational setting. You should also have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent qualification. This may help identify any incidents or issues that have happened and are publicly available online, which we may wish to explore with you at interview.
