About the role

Teaching Assistant (Level 2) Contract : 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year Towcester Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of the market town of Towcester. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. The school prides itself on its inclusive nurturing approach and strives to ensure that all pupils thrive and have a brilliant start to their education! Standards are high at Towcester where children are keen to learn but welfare and nurture is paramount in allowing this to happen. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team and our ideal candidate is someone who has: Previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment. A good awareness of SEN Experience of working with pupils who have communication and language difficulties, Good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team. Good Literacy and Numeracy skills. Ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents. Personal commitment to on-going professional development.
