Job description

Medical Welfare Officer Location: Chiltern Academy Contract Type: Permanent Salary: NJCL4 (Points 9 - 14) Closing date: 9am, Monday 14th September 2026 Overview of the job To provide medical care and welfare to all students of the school together with some administrative duties associated with the post. Purpose of the post To provide crucial support for students' health and well-being. To work under the supervision of healthcare professionals, assisting with basic medical needs, administering medications, and maintaining student health records. The role includes both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all students. If you have an unwavering commitment to safeguarding young people, high levels of personal resilience and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same, then we want to hear from you. Full training, support and an induction will be provided. In line with our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils, this appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
