Higher Level Teaching Assistant Permanent Full Time Term Time Only Band 8, SCP 17-22 (depending on experience) We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed member of staff to join our motivated and highly professional team of HLTA’s. You will be:- Either qualified to HLTA level or cover supervisor and willing to immediately train to be HLTA. Able to demonstrate the ability to deliver lesson plans effectively. Flexible and confident to undertake work at short notice. Confident to provide cover across the age range. The successful candidate will: - Actively support the ethos, educational vision, policies and direction of the school. Demonstrate excellent classroom practice Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour. Have a good working knowledge of AFL and active, independent learning Be enthusiastic and flexible Be creative and able to motivate all children Have excellent communication and organisational skills An interest in Music or PE would be desirable Willing to train as a first aider and fire marshal
