About the role

We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our welcoming school and play a vital role in supporting pupils to succeed, grow, and reach their full potential. Your Opportunity This rewarding role offers the chance to work closely with class teachers and our SENCo to support children both in and out of the classroom. Whether you're experienced in SEND provision or have a genuine passion for helping children with additional needs thrive, you'll be joining a supportive team committed to making a difference every day. This position is offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our pupils in a supportive and collaborative environment. What we're looking for GCSE Maths & English Minimum Grade C or equivalent Someone with high expectations who is committed to raising the achievement of all children The ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning A collaborative professional with the ability to contribute to provision planning An excellent role model to children, colleagues and parents, exemplifying our core principle of kindness A positive, open-minded professional actively supportive of the ethos, vision and values of the school A member of the team who can build strong relationships with the many stakeholders in a school
