Do you love a vibrant, active environment? Are you passionate about health and fitness? Hazel Grove Sports Centre are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sports Centre Assistant to join their team. In this role you will assist in the smooth running of the Sports Centre facilities. Hazel Grove Sports Centre has a variety of sporting facilities available to hire to local community groups and sporting clubs. In this role, the ideal candidate will play a key part in ensuring our facilities provide a welcoming and positive experience for all our new members. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting the daily interaction with community users along with the day-to-day cleaning, setting up and supervision of gym and sports facilities. This role will be mainly based at Hazel Grove Sports Centre and on occasion Cheadle Hulme Sports Centre (Club Cheadle Hulme), flexibility to cover other trust club sites will also be required. Working pattern is Tuesday - Friday 3:30-10:30pm and Sunday 8am-5pm. Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please find the Job Description below) To assist in the smooth running of the sports centre facilities. To liaise with the Heads of the School PE Department to ensure smooth operation/changeover between school and community use. Key Skills & Experience Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent Must be able to move equipment correctly.
