About the role

Teacher of Maths Bloxwich Academy - Leamore Lane, Bloxwich WS2 7NR

Salary: MPS (UPS where applicable) (ECTs Welcome)

Start Date: January 2027 Grateful pupils + Committed maths teachers = The next generation of mathematicians and fulfilled teachers At Bloxwich Academy, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Maths to join the Mathematics Department. We are looking for a teacher who is not only passionate about getting the best from their pupils but also wants the best for themselves. We offer superb professional development opportunities, including the full suite of NPQs and excellent ECT support that goes well beyond what many schools offer. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin your career in a supportive environment, we would welcome your application. As a Teacher of Maths, you will be expected to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across different abilities and year groups, inspire pupils to develop confidence and love of mathematics and plan and deliver high quality lessons that support excellent progress and attainment.

We are looking for someone who:

Has Qualified Teacher Status; Has up to date subject and pedagogical knowledge, with a genuine passion for mathematics; Has excellent classroom management and communication skills; Is reflective, enthusiastic and keen to develop professionally; Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the school community.
