This role is essential to ensuring our school facilities are kept in a hygienic, safe, and pristine condition. Whether you have extensive professional cleaning experience or are looking to apply your strong attention to detail in a supportive educational environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our academy life. Our Premises department is collaborative, hard-working, and focused on maintaining high quality standards across the whole site. You’ll be joining a supportive team dedicated to creating a clean and safe learning space for every pupil. A day in your new role could see you:- sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and emptying litter bins across designated school areas. cleaning and polishing surfaces, fixtures, fittings, changing rooms, toilets, and shower facilities. operating appropriate powered cleaning equipment such as buffing machines or scrubber dryers. maintaining equipment and ensuring cleaning materials and disposables are safely replenished. reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns directly to the Site Manager. assisting with deep cleans and preparation for special academy events like Open Evenings. supporting colleagues and maintaining strict health, safety, and safeguarding procedures across the site.
