Free for schools
Every state-funded school in the UK already has a profile in our directory, built from official register data. Claiming it lets you control how your school is presented to candidates — and it costs nothing.
Tell candidates what it is actually like to work at your school — in your own words, marked as school-supplied.
Reach candidates searching for roles in your phase, subject and local authority.
Post roles directly and have them appear on your profile, in search and in candidate job alerts.
A complete, verified profile makes your school easier to find and easier to say yes to.
We verify every claim before granting control of a profile, so candidates can trust what they read. Choose whichever route fits your school.
Fastest route. Sign up with your work email on the school's own website domain — for example name@stmarys.sch.uk when the school website is stmarys.sch.uk. Personal addresses (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud) and a council or supplier domain do not count. Typical time: within one working day.
For central trust teams: use your trust email address. We check the school is a member of your trust in the official register and that you can act for it. Typical time: within one working day.
If neither applies, upload or send one piece of evidence: a letter or email from the head teacher or business manager on school letterhead or from a school address, or a staff list or website page naming you in your role. We record the reason for every approval. Typical time: one to three working days, longer if we need to contact the school.
Ask the person who manages your school's profile to invite you from their team page. If you don't know who that is, or think the claim is wrong, email support@schooljobs.uk with the school name and your role. We'll check with the school and reply within one working day. We never hand over a profile without verifying who you are.
It takes a few minutes. There is no charge, no contract and no upsell — claiming your profile is free for every school.
