Attendance Officer Barr Beacon School, Old Hall Lane, Aldridge, Walsall, WS9 0RF 37 hours |Monday to Friday | Term Time Only Starting Salary: £26825.02 (FTE £31,187) Start Date: September 2026 The role: Are you a highly organised and motivated individual? If so, we may have a great opportunity for you. Barr Beacon School are seeking to appoint an Attendance Officer to support promoting excellent attendance. You will work alongside key school staff, including Senior Leaders, to reduce levels of absence and work with children and families to improve levels of attendance across the school. You will address attendance and punctuality issues, investigate persistent absence and provide direct support to senior staff within the school. You will also be responsible for producing legal packs. About you: The successful candidate will play important role in the school communityworking to improve and maintain high levels of attendance. Your skillset and experience will include: Previous experience working within an admin or supportive role within an educational setting; A secure knowledge and understanding of the education system; Having excellent organisational skills and being a proactive team-player; Being able to build a strong rapport with pupils, parents and staff.
