Advertise a school vacancy

Write your advert in your own workspace, submit it for review, and manage it yourself once it is live. Every advert names the recruiting organisation and the school the role is actually based at, so candidates always know who they would work for.

Every advert is reviewed by our team before publication, so it does not appear the moment you submit it.

The advert lifecycle

  1. 1

    Draft the advert

Job title, role type, contract, hours, pay range, closing date, the school candidates would work at, and how to apply. Drafts save as you go.

  2. 2

    Submit for review

Submitting sends the advert to our team. It is not public at this point.

  3. 3

    Review

We check the advert is accurate, complete, safeguarding-aware and correctly attributed to the recruiting organisation.

  4. 4

    Live

The vacancy appears in search, on your organisation page, in matching job alerts and in any vacancy list you embed on your own site.

  5. 5

    Manage

Edit details, extend the closing date, or close the vacancy early. Closing removes it from every public surface.

  6. 6

    Measure

See the activity we actually record against the advert: views, saves and application clicks.

What we check before an advert goes live

Review is a quality standard, not a delay for its own sake. It is why candidates trust the listings.

  • Accurate attribution

The advertising organisation and the workplace school are recorded separately, so an agency advert is never presented as if the school placed it.

  • Honest pay information

Pay is shown as published, on its stated basis. A daily rate is never presented as an annual salary.

  • Real closing dates

A vacancy leaves public surfaces once it closes, so candidates do not apply for roles that have gone.

  • No duplicate listings

The same vacancy reaching us from more than one route is resolved to one listing.
