About the role
This role is part-time and you will be working 37 hours per week, term time plus 2 days. The successful candidate will work as part of our behaviour team and will be responsible for promoting the College’s behaviour system. You will manage students using efficient and effective strategies, monitoring student welfare and providing interventions and support to students in our Reflection and Inclusion rooms. You will provide a confidential, administrative and community liaison function, and you will work alongside the team to deliver comprehensive pastoral support. All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive ethos. In November 2022, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category. We are “Good with Outstanding Catholic Life and Mission” in terms of our S48 inspection by the Catholic Schools Inspectorate in March 2025.
What we can offer you:
At All Saints Catholic College, we aim to create a happy workplace culture through promoting a healthy work/life balance. We do that by providing a package of flexible employee benefits, including:
- An attractive pension scheme for both Teaching and Support staff.
- A high-quality wellbeing package including medical cover, counselling, physiotherapy, fast track medical cover, care service and a 24 hour GP-helpline.
- Care First Advice - a 24/7 information and counselling service.
- We are part of the Cycle to Work scheme. Tax free bikes and safety equipment can be payable by payroll deduction through a partnership with Cyclescheme.
- Free parking Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who are able to work as part of the whole staff team, and who will support and uphold the Catholic ethos and practices of the school.
All Saints is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Therefore, we expect all workers, volunteers and employees to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including online searches and a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Record with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). It is an offence to apply for the role if an applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children (where the role involves this type of regulated activity). A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
