Job description

Temporary Part-time Class Teacher Required to work in a small mixed aged KS2 class, five mornings per week, teaching English, Maths, Science and RE. M1-M6 £32,916 - £45,352 (pro rata) Required as soon as possible from 8th September 2026. The Academy Councillors at Gainford C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly effective and reflective classroom practitioner with experience of working in Key Stage 2, who is passionate about offering children an environment that encourages them to love learning and promotes our Christian ethos. The successful candidate will become part of a committed team who have high expectations and believe in respect and success for all. Our children need a teacher who will take an interest in them as individuals and who will ensure that they make excellent progress by making learning exciting, memorable and fun.
