Job description

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and hardworking Cleaning Assistant to join our friendly Premises Team. This is an important role that helps ensure our school provides a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors every day. Working under the direction of the Operations Manager, you will carry out a range of cleaning duties across the school site, including classrooms, offices, corridors and staff and student facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively, and supporting colleagues to ensure essential cleaning standards are met throughout the school. The successful candidate will be reliable, take pride in their work, have a keen eye for detail and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to health and safety, safeguarding, equality and the wider values of the school is essential. This role offers the opportunity to make a real contribution to the daily life of the school and to be part of a supportive team committed to providing the best possible environment for our school community.
