Salary: LGS 22 – FTE £33,699.00 (Actual £30,472.12)
Contract: Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per
week, 41 weeks per year

Fir Vale Academy is a large 11- 16 mixed
secondary Academy located in the North of Sheffield. We are excited to be part
of United Learning Trust, one of the country's leading education groups. As we
embark on this new chapter, we are committed to driving improvement and raising

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Head
of Year to join our pastoral team and play a key role in supporting the
wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of our students.
Working closely with the Head of Year, you will
support the pastoral leadership of a year group, helping to maintain high
standards of behaviour, attendance, and academic progress. This role is ideal
for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young
people, enjoys working as part of a team, and can build strong relationships
with students, families, and staff.
You will also contribute to safeguarding
practices, lead on student support interventions, and help organise a range of
pastoral and whole-academy activities.
