Job description
A unique opportunity to lead two schools, influence practice beyond your own community, and play a key role in shaping the future of education across the region.
Are you an experienced Headteacher looking for your next challenge?
Do you want a role that combines the best of Headship with wider opportunities for system leadership?
Are you excited by the opportunity to lead a nationally recognised DfE Attendance and Behaviour Hub whilst continuing to make a profound difference to children, families and communities?
If so, we would love to hear from you.
Hollingwood Primary School and Poolsbrook Primary Academy are seeking an ambitious and inspirational leader to become the next Head Teacher across both schools.
This is a significant leadership opportunity. Leading across two schools, you will benefit from a shared structure which includes leadership capacity, governance, operational support and resources across both settings. This creates the conditions for you to focus on what matters most; delivering exceptional outcomes for children, developing people, strengthening culture and leading sustainable improvement.
Whilst both schools retain their own unique identity and community, they work together through a shared vision and structure. We are looking for a leader who can build on this strong foundation, further strengthen collaboration and ensure both schools continue to flourish.
An opportunity to lead beyond your own schools
A particularly exciting aspect of this role is the opportunity to lead Hollingwood's work as a designated DfE Attendance and Behaviour Hub. This provides a unique platform for professional growth and influence, enabling the successful candidate to work with schools across the region, share best practice, support school improvement and contribute to wider educational leadership beyond their own schools.
For an experienced Headteacher looking for the next stage of their career, this role offers the opportunity to broaden your impact whilst remaining connected to the children, staff and communities you serve.
Two schools with strong foundations
Hollingwood Primary School is a thriving school with a strong reputation and a clear commitment to ensuring every child succeeds through its values of Respect, Resilience and Responsibility. Poolsbrook Primary Academy is a distinctive village school with a strong community ethos and a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop a love of learning and aspiration for the future. Together, the schools provide a rare opportunity to lead across two communities whilst benefiting from strong shared structures, leadership capacity and a collaborative approach.
