Tel: 01508 493132 Email: office@stokeholycross.norfolk.sch.uk Website: https://www.stokeholycross.norfolk.sch.uk Headteacher: Miss Jeannette Chaney NOR: 191 Age range: 4-11years Salary, MPR6 - UPR2 + SEN Allowance Permanent Part Time 0.4 FTE (2 days per week) days negotiable Required for January 2027 (or sooner if possible) Stoke Holy Cross Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified SENDCo and Inclusion Lead. The role of SENDCo and Inclusion Lead can be highly rewarding, as you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to pupils receiving the support they need towards achieving their full potential. We believe in working collaboratively and sharing good practice. The successful candidate will currently hold the National Award for SEN Coordination or NPQ SENDCo qualification (or be close to completion) and may also hold other appropriate qualifications and experience e.g. funding systems, Local Authority processes, working with the Inclusion Team, diagnostic assessments. Our SENDCo and Inclusion Lead must be passionate about being a true champion for some of our most vulnerable pupils and able to work with staff and external professionals to provide support to their families. Key responsibilities will include (see Job Description): Ensuring the school is meeting all the requirements identified in the SEN Code of Practice, especially in this time of change; Champion for accessibility and inclusion; With the support of the Senior Leadership Team, as the new SENDCo and Inclusion Lead, you will take responsibility for strategic development and day-to-day implementation of the SEND policy and all inclusion matters; Responsible for the SEND information report and provision made for pupils with learning barriers or disabilities, to ensure they are working towards achieving their potential; Inspire and motivate other teachers, model good practice and develop a whole school commitment to supporting pupils with SEND; Work closely and proactively with staff, parents/carers, external partners, Governors and other agencies; Provide professional guidance to staff to help ensure high-quality teaching, behaviour management and the effective use of resources to secure an inclusive education. *Steps Lead Teacher would be desirable.
