Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inclusion Leader at Bradford Alternative Provision Academy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for children's wellbeing, behaviour, equality and attendance. The role will involve establishing relationships with pupils and families and ensuring that the school's inclusive values are reflected in daily practice.
About our School
Bradford Alternative Provision Academy (BAPA) takes referrals for secondary ages young people who live in Bradford and have been permanently excluded from school. BAPA comprises of three main sites, Aireview in Saltaire, Jesse Street at Fairweather Green, and Cityview in Bowling.
The sites work closely together to offer the best service for young people, families and schools. In addition, some students access provision at our Pre-sites at The Bungalow and The Loft.

The successful candidate will:
Lead and develop inclusive practice across the school, promoting equality, diversity and access to learning for all
Monitor children's behaviour and attitude and support parents/carers to ensure their children behave within the behaviour code
Establish productive and positive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model that promotes positive values and attitudes
Provide informal support for crisis and trauma, including signposting/referring to specialised services
Lead on early identification and intervention for pupils at risk of underachievement or social exclusion
Have a level 4 qualification in education or health or a minimum of 2 years experience in education, health, social care or youth work
