We are looking for a Janitor to join our team starting in September 2026. About the Role: As our Janitor, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. You will help ensure the smooth daily running of the school and contribute to the warm, caring atmosphere that makes our community special. This is a term-time only position, working 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some additional hours may be required during the holiday periods. These will be paid for in addition to your contracted working hours. Main Responsibilities: Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required Ensuring the school is clean, safe, and secure at all times Opening and locking up the school premises Monitoring stock levels of cleaning materials and reporting when supplies are low Reporting any health and safety issues, hazards, or necessary repairs Assisting with setting up for school events, furniture moves, or deliveries Maintaining the school site, buildings, grounds and facilities, carrying out minor repairs and reporting any significant maintenance issues promptly.
