Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge is seeking a Casual Site Lettings Assistant to support the smooth running of our community lettings programme outside normal school hours. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is committed to providing excellent customer service. About the Role As a Casual Site Lettings Assistant, you will help ensure our facilities are safe, secure and ready for use by community groups hiring our premises. You will act as a key holder, opening and closing the site, assisting users, responding to health and safety matters, and carrying out minor site-related tasks. Key responsibilities include: Opening and securing the school premises for lettings Welcoming and assisting hirers and visitors Setting up and putting away equipment, tables and chairs Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning tasks Monitoring facilities and reporting any defects or damage Supporting a safe, secure and professional environment during lettings Acting appropriately in the event of an emergency About You We are looking for someone who: Has excellent communication and customer service skills Is reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated Can work independently and as part of a team Has practical maintenance or site management skills Has knowledge of health and safety requirements Can remain calm and professional when dealing with issues Is flexible and available to work evenings, weekends and school holidays A First Aid qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
