Lunchtime Supervisor

Slade Primary School is looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an important role within our school community, helping to ensure that children have a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime. You will support children during lunch and play, encourage positive behaviour and help create a welcoming environment where all children feel safe and included. The role is part time, working 6.25 hours per week .

About the role

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will: Supervise children during lunchtime in the dining area and outside. Help to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children. Encourage positive behaviour and support children in resolving minor disagreements. Build positive and respectful relationships with children. Support children to develop positive social skills and enjoy their lunchtime. Follow the school's safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour procedures. Work closely with colleagues to ensure a positive and well-organised lunchtime. About you

Enjoys working with children and is committed to supporting their wellbeing. Is caring, patient and approachable. Can build positive relationships with children. Is confident in promoting positive behaviour. Can remain calm and supportive when dealing with challenging situations. Works well as part of a team. Is reliable, responsible and able to use their own initiative. Understands the importance of safeguarding and keeping children safe.
