Job description

Moseley School & Sixth Form are seeking reliable, enthusiastic and caring Senior Lunchtime Supervisor to join its friendly lunchtime team. The successful candidate will supervise students aged 11-19 during lunch breaks, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour in the dining hall and outdoor areas while helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment The hours required for the post are a 2 hours and 30 minutes commitment per day at a time between 11:50am and 14:20pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 11:15am - 13:45pm on a Wednesday (times will be confirmed upon appointment). Moseley School & Sixth Form is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and professional Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly and hardworking lunchtime team. This important role involves supervising students aged 11-19 during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and on the playground, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour. You will help maintain a clean and tidy dining environment, support students in always interacting respectfully with one another and act as a positive role model. Your role will include the Supervision of the other 5 Lunch Time Supervisors we are recruiting for, you will be paid an extra TLR of £579 for this responsibility. The role requires excellent spoken and written English skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team and a willingness to undertake first aid training and administer first aid. Working hours are 2 hours and 30 minutes per day , Monday to Friday during lunchtime periods. A free staff duty meal is provided during shifts. Key responsibilities include; Supervision of the 5 lunchtime supervisor's in the team Supervising dining hall and playground areas Supporting safe movement of students around the school during lunchtime Encouraging students to take responsibility for keeping areas tidy and ensuring a safe and positive lunchtime experience for all Applications close on Monday 7th September 2026 at 9am and interviews will be held on Thursday 10th September 2026.
