Job description

Plaistow Hill Primary and Nursery School is seeking a Mealtime Assistant to join the lunchtime team, to lead play and supervise the children during their lunchtime break. The role will include supporting children in the lunch hall, organising team games, providing first aid support and pastoral care to all pupils. We are looking for Mealtime Assistant candidates who: Will promote positive behaviour and safe active play in the playground environment Will supervise the dining hall whilst encouraging healthy eating, table manners and good hygiene Will work together with other school staff and the wider community to ensure that our mission is translated into action. About the school Plaistow Hill Primary and Nursery school is a small one form entry school in Plymouth. We pride ourselves on having a village school feeling in the city.
