Job description

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Midday Assistant to join our catering department. Salary Range: National Minimum Wage Contract: Permanent Working weeks: 39 weeks (Term Time only) Working Hours: 9.30am - 2pm Monday - Friday. Duties will include cleaning the dining hall before and after lunch, and supervising students. The successful candidate will be: Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Have the ability to work both alone and in a team Someone with a good eye for detail who takes pride in their work Have a good level of fitness due to the nature of the role Have an awareness of Health & Safety procedures Previous work in a school environment is desirable, but not essential Closing date: Friday 28th August 2026 Start date: September 2026 We reserve the right to close this advertisement early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications or are able to fill the position faster than originally anticipated.
