Job description

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a Midday Supervisor. This role will be based at St Marie's Catholic Primary School. This is a part-time position, working 6.25 hours per week, on a term time only basis (38 weeks per year). The successful candidate will: Prepare the dining area for lunch, including setting out chairs and tables. Supervise toileting and washroom activities. Escort children to and from the dining room. Supervise the collection of meals and assist pupils with the use of cutlery. Assist pupils with returning used plates, trays, cutlery, and glasses/beakers, as well as clearing tables. Supervise pupils eating packed lunches and ensure all equipment is cleared away. Oversee classroom and outdoor activities, encouraging inclusion and positive interaction. Ensure an orderly return to the classroom after lunch. Attend to minor accidents or pupils who feel unwell, providing care as needed. Report to the Senior Midday Supervisor (SMDS) if an accident occurs or a pupil becomes ill. Monitor pupil behaviour and intervene as necessary, in line with the school’s behaviour policy. Inform the SMDS of any breaches of school rules. Candidates must enjoy working with children.
