Job description

Sheringham Woodfields School is an Outstanding complex needs school in Norfolk for pupils aged 3-19. Our school has an important role in delivering the SEN strategy across North Norfolk and there will be many opportunities for the successful candidate to take on new challenges and responsibilities. We are looking for motivated individuals who wants to make a difference to young people’s lives that can focus on the individual and their needs. Experience of working with SEN and challenging behaviours is desirable. We are looking to recruit a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our school. Someone to provide effective support at lunchtimes to ensure all pupils are kept safe, have their personal needs met, enjoy less formal activities and make effective choices. Supervise pupils under the direction of the duty teacher, to ensure the safety and well being of pupils and the adherence with school procedures while in play areas, the dining room, classrooms or in transit between schools where appropriate.
