Job description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable, technician to support the Science Department. Are you organised with a knowledge of Health and Safety and the ability to prepare, store and dispose of chemicals safely in a laboratory environment.  Responsibilities will include helping across the science department at The Ongar Academy with a range of duties. You will need to provide relevant equipment, resources, and chemicals to support classroom practical lessons, plus the setting up of apparatus as requested.     Visits to the school prior to application are welcome and can be arranged using the contact details below.     This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and is not suitable for anyone who has been barred in any way from working with children.    Bridge Academy Trust may close this advert early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.
