Science Technician NJC Scale Point: 4 - 6 Actual salary: £14,636 to £15,103 per annum 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum We are searching for the best education professionals to join our trust. Pool Hayes Academy are looking to appoint a creative and organised Science Technician, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of secondary education. The successful candidate will work in partnership with class teachers to support with resources, learning and technical support to meet the needs of the Science department. Our Academy is a well led, dynamic team, whose colleagues all enjoy supporting the Academy and its culture of outstanding success amongst our students. The appointed candidate will ensure compliance with health and safety and security measures at all times and support teachers and students with practical activities. The ideal candidate will have a good basic level of education to GCSE level 4/C+ (to include English and Maths), have an awareness of health and safety regulations relating to practical subjects in schools and have the ability to keep calm under pressure.
