Job description

Job Title: Teacher Location: Bracken Hill School Grade/Scale: Teacher Pay Scale - MPS / UPS Contract: 11 hours per week (Thursday and Friday) Bracken Hill School is an all-age Special School for children aged 4 to 18 years, who have a range of complex educational needs with associated social and emotional difficulties, and challenging behaviour. We are looking to appoint a Teacher who is passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with SEND. If you enjoy challenge, value teamwork and want to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people. We are looking for a teacher who will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences for pupils with a range of complex needs. The successful candidate will: Deliver engaging and purposeful learning that support pupils to develop communication, independence and confidence Plan and adapt learning carefully so that activities help pupils secure the intended knowledge and skills Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and strengthen our curriculum across all pathways Use assessment effectively to understand pupil progress and inform future learning Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and work closely with families and other professionals. You will join a supportive and dedicated staff team who work closely together to ensure that every pupil experience success.
