Permanent, Part Time, Term Time Only Monday to Friday, 27.5 hours Teaching Assistant and 2.5 hours play/lunch time support Salary NJC Grade A1/B1, Scale Points 3-6, £25,614 - £26,846 per annum Actual Salary £17,426 - £18,264 per annum Required September 2026 / October 2026 The Governors are looking for a highly motivated and inspirational Teaching Assistant to join our Catholic primary school at St. Mary’s Horsforth Catholic Voluntary Academy . We are looking for an inspirational and creative teaching assistant to become a member of our friendly and hardworking team. You will work within key stage 2 in the first instance, years 5 & 6. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who: Is a practising Catholic or supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school Is warm, friendly and empathetic Has excellent English, maths and communication skills Understands how individual children learn to ensure rapid progress Is committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour Works effectively as part of a skilled team including outside agencies Is a dedicated, enthusiastic and flexible teaching assistant.
