Job description

Wath Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to work closely across Key Stage 3 & 4 with students who may have specific learning needs or social, emotional and mental health and/or engagement individual needs. The colleague appointed will provide general classroom and pastoral support for various curriculum programmes and guide students via interventions to overcome barriers to learning in order for them to enjoy learning and achieve their full potential. Wath Academy already has a strong team of professionals delivering high quality learning in and out of the classroom who work together to achieve our Academy vision ‘to deliver exceptional learning experiences that enable all young people to thrive in a competitive world and lead successful and fulfilling lives’. Salary:£19,532.00 - £19,842.00 pro rata and £25,583.00 - £25,989.00 FTE (Pay Award pending) About the Role This is a permanent role, to start September 2026. 32.5hrs per week, term time only.
