Job description

We are looking for someone who is caring, flexible, shows initiative and is able to work as part of our school. You should have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of children in large and small groups and as well as on an individual basis. The successful candidate will also have the ability to approach tasks with enthusiasm, positivity, energy and commitment. Ideally, we would like the candidate to be qualified at level 3. This position will be working across the school in Early Years, KS1 and KS2, we would therefore encourage applications from candidates with experience in all areas. Duties will also include some lunchtime supervision. Hours: 8.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday Total of 35 hours per week (term time only) Key Responsibilities: Assist in delivering engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas. Support the class teacher in managing classroom dynamics and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. Support the teaching and learning of children across the school. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to help tailor individual learning experiences. Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, helping to foster independence and positive behaviour. Contribute positively to the work of the team, sharing ideas and resources to enhance the overall learning experience. Communicate effectively with parents and carers, supporting them to engage in their child’s learning journey.
