Job description

Who are we looking for? As our Teaching Assistant, you will have worked with or cared for children in a school setting and understand classroom roles and responsibilities. Alongside Level 2 qualifications, you will understand how children develop and learn and have a general understanding of the National Curriculum. You will be required to provide support on a 1:1 basis with personal needs including health, hygiene, first aid and welfare As an effective communicator you will be able to relate well to children and adults, acting as a role model. With your ability to work well within a team you will encourage children to engage in activities led by the teacher and actively promote inclusion of all pupils. The post is based at Hill Top Primary Academy and applicants should ensure they are able to travel to the place of work before they apply
