Behaviour Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Behaviour Support Officer to join the Boys' Upper School at Hasmonean Multi-Academy Trust. Your new role As Behaviour Support Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a calm, orderly and purposeful learning environment across the Boys' Upper School. Working closely with pastoral leaders, teachers and parents, you will support the consistent implementation of the school's Behaviour Policy and help students develop positive attitudes towards learning and behaviour.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the day-to-day operation of the Reflection Room. Delivering targeted behaviour interventions and restorative conversations. Supporting students with challenging behaviour and promoting positive change. Coordinating and monitoring behaviour sanctions, including detentions. Maintaining accurate behaviour records and analysing trends. Working collaboratively with staff, parents and safeguarding teams to improve student outcomes. Maintaining a visible presence around the school and reinforcing high expectations. What you'll need to succeed

Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Be confident, authoritative and able to maintain high standards. Be organised, proactive and calm under pressure. Demonstrate effective behaviour management skills. Have a strong understanding of student welfare and safeguarding. Be able to work successfully with students, colleagues and parents. Have high expectations and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed. Experience working in a secondary school environment would be advantageous.
