Job description

Part of the Diocese of Norwich St Benet’s MAT and the Diss and Scole Primary Academy Partnership Tel: 01379 642675 Email: sbm@dissandscole.stbenets.org Salary - Support Staff, Pay Point 3, £6,452 actual pa (£25,292 FTE) Permanent Part Time 10 hours per week Term time plus 5 weeks Required for 21 September 2026 To clean a designated area of the school to the standard laid down by the school under the direction of the Headteacher / School Business Manager and Premises Manager. To ensure the safety and well-being of pupils and adherence with school procedures while in play areas, the dining room, classrooms or in transit between schools where appropriate. We are looking for someone who is a team player and happy to be versatile and fit in where they are needed. No previous experience necessary as full training will be given. Working Hours The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 3.30-5.30pm, term time plus PD days plus 4 weeks throughout the year. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
