Job description

One Year Fixed Term Contract 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time only) Full time Pro-rata Salary: £27,985 to £29,234 per annum, depending on experience (NJC 5, point 12-15 - full time equivalent salary £33,509 to £35,004 per annum) Starting date: As soon as possible We require an organised person to help provide cover supervision for lessons during staff absence by supervising classes using pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and that behaviour is managed in line with school expectations. In addition you will be a key member in our Student Support Hubs (KS3 and 4) playing a key role in supporting the day to day running of the Hub, working closely with students and staff to promote a positive, calm and inclusive learning environment. In this role, you will provide pastoral and practical support to students, respond to daily issues as they arise, and build positive relationships that help students succeed. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate considering a career in teaching who wishes to gain valuable school experience, a qualified teacher returning to education after a career break, or a parent who is looking for a rewarding term time role.
