Job description

Due to domestic relocation, we have an opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to join our friendly Central Services team. Working on school site Wednesday to Friday , you will support a number of secondary and primary schools with a wide range of HR activities in conjunction with other HR colleagues. There will be extensive involvement in recruitment activity, supporting Headteachers and their teams and ensuring that all onboarding is completed to ensure that KCSiE requirements are met. You will co-ordinate contractual documentation and ensure that new starters are set up on all MIS systems, including payroll. You will need sound IT skills to utilise MyNewTerm, Itrent and Bromcom, although full training will be given. You will work closely with colleagues to resolve employee queries and have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service. You will have an opportunity to be involved in a range of casework activities, developing your employee relations knowledge and skills. A full job description is attached. Our schools are based in Southwark and Lambeth in South London so periodic travel to varying school sites will be an important part of the role. If you are someone who loves a busy and varied workload and thrives on multi tasking, this could well be the role for you. We expect this to be a popular role so don't delay, apply today! We reserve the right to close the post prior to the stated date.
