We're looking for an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to join our team and help us to support students with various SEND needs to overcome their barriers to learning through specialist provisions. The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) This is a 39-week-per-year role, which includes term time and non-pupil days. Please note: This vacancy is open throughout the summer period and will close on 31st August. Shortlisting will take place immediately after the closing date, and applicants should expect to receive an update or decision regarding interviews in early September. A Day in the Life: You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas: Working with individuals or small groups of children in collaboration with teaching staff Proactively supporting students with activities designed to enhance numeracy and literacy Supporting SEN students in gaining the ability to utilise IT in the classroom Working with SEN students to foster their development as independent learners What We're Looking For: You are the perfect fit for our team if you have: A good standard of education (ideally Maths/English GCSE grade A* to C or equivalent); A commitment to high standards of achievement from students and yourself; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act on your own initiative.
