Job description

Experience of working with children (in a school, childcare, sports, youth work or voluntary setting). Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults. Good behaviour management skills and the ability to encourage positive behaviour. Ability to remain calm and deal with incidents confidently and fairly. A caring, patient and approachable manner. Ability to work as part of a team. Reliable, punctual and well organised. Good observation skills and awareness of health and safety. Ability to follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and first aid procedures. Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
