We are looking to recruit a Lunchtime Playleader to work with our lunchtime team ensuring a caring and safe environment for pupils during the lunchtime break. Throughout this role as a Lunchtime Playleader, you may be required to support pupils on a one-to-one basis, and to help within small groups of two to six pupils at one time. The successful candidate will be: An enthusiastic team player who is caring, supportive and committed to the welfare and well-being of all pupils. Able to ensure the good conduct, welfare and safety of all pupils. Able to organise appropriate structured creative play activities. Able to control and supervise children and remain calm in all situations. Able to establish positive relationships with pupils and act as a good role model. In return Greenside Primary School will offer you: An enthusiastic, supportive and committed team of staff, parents/carers and governors. A warm welcoming school community with clear vision and values. A high level of support with opportunities for professional and personal development. A caring and inclusive environment where children are happy, motivated and want to learn. An opportunity to share in the future provision and development of the school. Greenside Primary School is an inclusive school with values that ensure everyone matters and is appreciated. If you think you have the talents and commitment we are looking for then we look forward to receiving your application. Greenside Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service Check and medical clearance from Leeds City Council’s Occupational Health Service. As part of our due diligence and following the statutory guidance in the KCSIE September 2022, Greenside Primary will carry out an online search on shortlisted candidates. This may help identify any incidents or issues that have happened, and are publicly available online, which the school might want to explore with the applicant at interview.
