About the Role We are looking for an organised, proactive, and highly skilled Office Manager to lead and oversee the smooth running of our school office. As a key member of the administrative and wider school team, you will provide high-level administrative and financial support that ensures our school operates efficiently and warmly welcomes children, families, staff, and visitors. The post is currently advertised on a term time only basis for 39 weeks of the year. The school is open to offering more weeks in the school holidays and will be discussed at the interview. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional service. You will work closely with the Headteacher, staff, families, and the Flying High Partnership Central Team, contributing to the wider life, culture, and continued improvement of the school. Whether you already have experience in a similar role or are ready to step up, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Deliver a wide range of complex administrative tasks, including sensitive correspondence, financial documentation and accurate data management. Lead procurement activity, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring best value. Take ownership of personnel administration and take the lead in the school for HR, policies, procedures and compliance matters. Lead and coordinate the work of administrative colleagues, ensuring a calm, efficient and positive office environment. Maintain and improve systems and processes to support effective school operations. Lead on financial administration, including ordering, account reconciliation, budget monitoring and cash handling. Organise school events, visits and activities, managing logistics, communication and associated finances. Offer confident, informed advice to parents, staff and external partners on school processes and policies. Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times and engage in regular safeguarding training. Maintain confidentiality, accuracy and high professional standards. We Are Looking For Someone Who: Has experience in a senior administrative role (education experience is beneficial) Is highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise confidently in a fast‑paced environment Remains calm under pressure, with children at the heart of their daily decisions Is confident using IT systems including Arbor, Outlook, MS Office and administrative databases Demonstrates professionalism, accuracy and confidentiality Can problem‑solve independently and work effectively as part of a team Builds strong, positive relationships with staff, families and external partners Approaches challenges with positivity, resilience and solution‑focused thinking Understands and models the values of the Flying High Partnership Application Details Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
