Job description

Job Title: Behaviour & Learning Practitioner (BLP) Location: Derby Pride Academy Grade/Scale: Derby City Support Pay Scale - Grade F, Point 15 - 20. Actual Salary, £25,938 - £28,160 per annum Contract: 37 hours per week, term time only, Fixed Term contract Derby Pride Academy (DPA) became one of the first alternative provision academy free schools to ever open within the country. DPA offers alternative provision for young people aged 11 - 16 who are referred by their mainstream school or Derby City LA. The academy provides an environment where all students feel understood, valued and cared for. DPA is looking to appoint a Behaviour & Learning Practitioner (BLP). The successful candidate will be a patient, enthusiastic and supportive individual who is passionate about helping pupils to achieve their full potential. They will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils both in and out of the classroom.
