Exam Invigilator

Cardinal Wiseman School is seeking a highly organised, calm, and committed Lead Exam Invigilator to oversee the effective running of examinations across the school. This is a key role in ensuring that all assessments are conducted in line with JCQ regulations and that every student is given the best possible environment to succeed. This is a flexible, part-time, seasonal role during exam periods, ideal for someone looking to contribute to a school environment in a responsible and rewarding capacity. About the Role The Lead Exam Invigilator will: Coordinate a team of exam invigilators Ensure all exams are conducted in accordance with statutory guidelines Manage exam materials securely and efficiently Provide clear briefings and guidance to invigilators and students Support the Exams Officer with preparation, room setup, and post-exam procedures Help maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere for students during exam periods What We’re Looking For Excellent organisational and communication skills A calm, authoritative presence Strong attention to detail Reliability and professionalism Experience in exam invigilation or team leadership (desirable but not essential) A commitment to upholding the school’s values and safeguarding standards Why Join Cardinal Wiseman?
